E-visa to Ukraine. New rules are applied since 2019

E-visa to Ukraine requirements____

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has amended the rules on getting visas to Ukraine and abolished the possibility for citizens of certain countries (see the list below) to apply for a visa on arrival. Since 2019 you need to get E-visa before a trip to Ukraine, that is valid for 30 days and is for one entry only.
The application for E-visa to Ukraine is made through the online application system and it is granted without an actual visit to the consulate. The E-visa itself shall be printed if granted.
Purpose of visit
The list of cases when the E-visa to Ukraine can be issued was extended. It can be issued not only for tourism or business purpose but for private visit, health care, journalism, sport or education purpose.
Application for E-Visa to Ukraine shall be filed not earlier than 3 months and not less than 10 business days prior the visit to Ukraine and you will need to attach the scan copies of the standard documents such as:
1. Passport`s first page2. Documents confirming the purpose of your visit (e.g. tourism voucher, hotel and flights booking / private invitation letter / business invitation letter, investment documents / medical documents).3. Insurance policy with 30,000 EURO coverage,4. Sufficient funds confirmation (approximately USD 1,600 per 30 days).
Visa fee
At the same time, the E-visa fee was increased up to USD 85. And no exceptions to the rule: even kids (less than 6 years old), diplomats, representatives of international organizations, members of official delegation of the highest officials of states will have to pay this fee in case visa is required.
